reports are sent to primary parents twice a year, at the end of term one and
again at the end of term three. These reports link the students' learning and
progress to the National Curriculum and measure the children against the
expected levels of the National Curriculum. The reports give detailed feedback
on achievement and attainment in all subjects, as well as next steps targets
for the children and parents to work on together to ensure continued progress.
There are also two parent teacher conferences (PTCs) each year, providing an
opportunity for reports to be discussed and next step targets to be shared and
explained. Al Ain Academy’s strong community ethos means that
informal conversations regarding achievement and attainment are continuously
taking place throughout the school year and these are always welcomed.
